DIY or
repair challenges can often require specialist or expensive tools that may put you
off having a go. Some jobs around the house and garage that I’ve attempted have
been put on hold or gone wrong because the cost to buy a specialist tool has
become a barrier. Or in some cases I’ve anticipated problems and not been able
to find suitable solutions.
More
recently, I’ve been thinking harder about alternative methods and home-made
tools, and this has allowed me to tackle some jobs successfully - maybe saving
some money too. I hope you will find
some of the ideas in this blog helpful. If they don’t solve your problem
directly, you might be able to adapt them to suit your own purposes.
